Vigilant Solutions team member wins the Sensis API prize at RHoK Melbourne – 2012

Roy El Hachem, software development manager at Vigilant Solutions took part of Random Hacks of Kindness in Melbourne on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2012. Teaming up with four Victorian IT professionals Roy and the team won the Sensis API (SAPI) integration prize by creating Reconomise: a web application designed to help small business interact and recover in an event of a natural disaster.

The project was built on top of the Sensis API (http://developers.sensis.com.au/), an extensive and easy to use API,  using Node and Mongo DB.
